रायपुर. मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल आज कांग्रेस नेत्री और पूर्व राज्यसभा सांसद छाया वर्मा के घर किरना (सिलयारी) पहुंचे. जहां उन्होंने शोकाकुल परिवार से मुलाकात की और उन्हें ढांढस बंधाया. दरअसल, गुरुवार को छाया वर्मा के पति डॉ. दया वर्मा का निधन हो गया. उन्होंने अंबडेकर अस्पताल में अंतिम सांसें ली. दिल का दौरा पड़ने से उनका निधन हुआ है.
डॉ. दया वर्मा शासकीय चिकित्सक थे. उनके पति डॉ. दया वर्मा सिलयारी उपस्वास्थ्य केंद्र में लंबे समय तक पदस्थ रहे.
सिलयारी के समीप ही उनका गांव किरना है, जहां बजरंग पावर प्लांट है.
सीएम ने जताया था शोक
छाया वर्मा के पति के निधन पर मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने शोक जताया था. उन्होंने सोशल मीडिया पर लिखा था कि पूर्व राज्यसभा सांसद, कांग्रेस नेत्री छाया वर्मा के पति डॉ. दया वर्मा का दिल का दौरा पड़ने से आकस्मिक निधन का दुखद समाचार प्राप्त हुआ है. ईश्वर उनकी आत्मा को शांति एवं परिवारजनों को संबल प्रदान करे. इस दुःख की घड़ी में हम सब उनके साथ हैं.
